Hongkongissa 50-luvulla keksitty jälkiruoka on viimein raivannut tiensä myös Eurooppaan. Bubblewrap-vohvelit ovat pulleita ja herkullisia tötteröitä, joiden sisään voi panna täytteeksi kaikkea aina avokadosta kermavaahtoon ja suklaakastikkeeseen.

Culture Tip -sivusto esittelee Lontoon Sohoon avatun vohvelikahvilan, jonka herkut menevät monen makeanhimoisenkin mielestä överiksi. Jättikokoiset kuplavohvelit muotoillaan tuutiksi ja niiden sisään pannaan jäätelöä, kermavaahtoa, hedelmiä, marjoja, suklaata tai vaikkapa täytekeksejä.

Lontoon Wardour Streetilla sijaisteva herkkumyymälä on noussut hetkessä nautiskelijoiden suosikkipaikaksi. Jälkiruoka on erikoinen sen kuplamaisen vohvelin ansiosta. Herkku sai alkunsa, kun hongkongilaiset hyödynsivät rikki menneitä kananmunia jälkiruoassa.

Bubblewrap began in 2015 as a university project. Now, just two years later, they are opening a permanent store in China Town in just two weeks! A wonderful project teaching the streets of London about the beautiful synergy between culture and food, bringing here the 1950s of Hong Kong. ❤❤❤❤ We LOVED learning about them today and we can't wait to go back!! ✨✨✨ ***UPDATE*** Bubblewrapwaffle are now open!! We are so lucky to be one of the first few to try them before their store opening. This photo has now been featured in multiple blog posts and videos, from @culturetrip to @timeoutlondon. We are so humbled by the response this account has received over the last few months. We love posting our content for you.
