Delehant palasi aseistettuna asiakkaan kotiin vaatimaan käteistippiä edellisillan tilauksesta. Mies oli humalassa ja ovella oli vastassa 19-vuotias Kianna Korenkov. A police report revealed the homeowner, Anthony said his daughter ordered about $100 in groceries and tipped through the app, but Delehant was not satisfied. The next morning at about 10 a.m. Volino says Delehant showed up angry, upset he had not gotten a cash tip the day before, which was actually noted on the order. He said you forgot to give me my tip,” said Volino. Things quickly escalated into a scuffle, and that is when spotted the gun tucked in Delehant’s waistband. He stepped to the right, I stepped to the left, and I reached behind him, and I felt the steel in his waistband, and as soon as I felt the gun in his waistband, my heart just sank,” said Volino. “The only thing on my mind was I have to get this gun away from him. I’m in a struggle for my life at this point. That’s what I’m thinking. It’s me or him. Volino disarmed Delehant, and both men called 9-1-1. I could have been shot, my kids could have been shot, if he would have got his hands on that gun, somebody could have gotten hurt. I still can’t believe it happened. Police arrived soon after and arrested Velehant. No one was hurt in the incident. “This is for a job that they’re already paid for, this is the customer’s decision whether to tip or not, he can’t make that decision that I’m going to go to somebody’s house to get a cash tip, he can’t make that choice.
